I finally got to visit the Winchester Mystery House in San Jose last month. The sheer scale of the place is mind-blowing – 160 rooms, stairs leading to nowhere, doors opening to walls. Sarah Winchester supposedly built it continuously for 38 years to appease spirits. Has anyone else been? What was your experience?

Been there twice! The energy in the basement is definitely different. I caught some interesting EVPs near the ballroom area. Definitely worth the trip.

I went last year and honestly thought it was overpriced. The tour guide seemed more interested in rushing us through than letting us experience anything.

My grandmother worked there as a docent in the 70s. She always said the west wing felt heavy at night.

Did an overnight investigation there in 2019. Temperature drops in the Daisy bedroom were significant – about 15 degrees in under 2 minutes.
