What was your first paranormal experience?

I have been researching the paranormal for years but I still remember my first experience like it was yesterday. I was about 12 years old and staying at my grandmothers house in Georgia. Late at night, I heard footsteps in the hallway but when I looked, there was no one there. The footsteps stopped right outside my door. Has anyone else had something similar happen?

That is fascinating! I had something similar happen at my grandmothers house in Tennessee. The old homes seem to hold so much energy. I have always wondered if it is residual or something more intelligent.
